Guest Spanglimungus Posted May 12, 2005 Report Posted May 12, 2005 OK, we all been there, you pay your money watch the film and it STINKS. 2 hours of your life that you're never going to get back. So in the spirit of letting others learn from your mistakes, share your pain on this thread. I shall get the ball rolling Titanic - Awful Tank Girl - The people who made this obviously didn't read the comic, prefering to just flick through and look at the pictures. Castaway - Tedious Forrest Gump - Durge Nuns on the Run - Makes Sister Act 2 the superior nun film Jerry McGuire - Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo Please continue........
Guest beersoft Posted May 12, 2005 Report Posted May 12, 2005 open water - it sucked and you just wanted them to be eaten by sharks in the first 30 seconds jackie brown - it sucked and was too damn long any film based on a phillip k dick book that isnt blade runner, i forget the name but it sucked and spanglimungus, the alternitve ending to castaway was better. you know the one where there is a 5 star hotel on the other side of the island ;) later Owen
Guest beersoft Posted May 12, 2005 Report Posted May 12, 2005 ohh i thought of some more whilst looking through sqalls dvd collection ;) scooby doo (and sequel) - it sucked on so many levels and daphnie wasn't hot enough mr bean - urgh!!! the remake of texas chainsaw, the first one was dull, this was the dishwater alone in the dark/tombraider/mortal kombat/supermario - stop it, its just not fun anymore (i liked resident evil, zombies rock) later Owen (and i haven't been looking at squalls dvd collection, i made that bit up)
Guest Spanglimungus Posted May 12, 2005 Report Posted May 12, 2005 jackie brown - it sucked and was too damn long <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Oh I forgot about Jackie Brown. That film was so bad that I'm repressing it. I thought of more though: Mars Attacks Beavis & Butthead Do America Highlander II & III - First film was genius, know when to stop guys ;) Braveheart - What is it with Mel English Hater Gibson and his "historical" films
Guest vluther Posted May 12, 2005 Report Posted May 12, 2005 Open Water -- Was horrible Blade Trinity -- Horrible Hmmm can't think of many more right now, probably repressed memories that I went to see a doctor for.

Guest mike-oh Posted May 13, 2005 Report Posted May 13, 2005 (edited) hmmmm a similiar thread was just started on BarryBoys :-k Ahwell my nominations are Commando - so bad it almost goes round the clock and becomes good again Anaconda - balls Volcano - balls A Knights Tale - Utter gash, thankfully (or maybe not) it came free with my dvd player therefore no cash wasted. The last 2 matrixs - The first is great! Anything with Hugh Grant - not got anything against him personally, it's just that all he appears in is soppy, vomit inducing crap! Edited May 13, 2005 by mike-oh
Guest DAK ATTACK Posted May 13, 2005 Report Posted May 13, 2005 Hmmmm OK might get a blasting for this but I think A knights tale was pretty funny......."his horses flanks" My two pence: Scarry movie (all of them) : bloody awful! Kill Bill 2 : utter let down from the first Star wars 4 n' 5 : MAJOR LET DOWN and too 'made in PC' look Boogie man : snore! Troy : oh come on please stop making this crap!
Guest Drewtech Posted May 13, 2005 Report Posted May 13, 2005 I have seen too many awful films of TV to even comment but I haven't seen too many at the cinema that I didn't like. The last really awful one at the cinema was Star Wars Episode I. It was so bad that I didn't bother going to see Episode II and I won't be going to Episode III either. I did wathc a bit of Episode II on TV but couldn't hack it all. I saw part of Matrix II on pirate DVD but only watched the first 30 minutes because I was so bored. I haven't even bothered with Matrix III on TV - I would rather watch cookery or gardening (but not Big Brother type reality shows: that would be going too far).
Guest James Posted May 13, 2005 Report Posted May 13, 2005 Lock Stock - Classic! James Bond - Classic! Trainspotting - Classic! StarWars - Good Films, BUT get a life. All American teenage/high school fims... utter utter utter utter SHE ITE!!

Guest spacemonkey Posted May 13, 2005 Report Posted May 13, 2005 Worst movie ever: Battlefield Earth with John Travolta.
Guest chucky.egg Posted May 13, 2005 Report Posted May 13, 2005 Can't remember the name of it, but some fairly recent British horror about some dopey tart stuck on the Underground and getting chased by a Deliverance-type inbred looney... Made it about half way through, and then I figured I was happier to throw the £4 in the gutter than to sit through to the end
Guest James Posted May 13, 2005 Report Posted May 13, 2005 ALL of them? I thought Die Another Day sucked bit fat donkey cock. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yeah, i agree.... i was not evn think of the new ones. Glodeneye is the last great
Guest benzo Posted May 13, 2005 Report Posted May 13, 2005 Yeah, i agree.... i was not evn think of the new ones. Glodeneye is the last great <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Die another day was shameful. The CGI graphics surfing scene was pathetic. The fight scenes with slow-mo matrix moves were tacky. And pierce doesn't cut it any more as Bond. Worst movies off of the top of my head: titanic, all star wars, anything directed by Ridley Scott, Be Cool
Guest mike-oh Posted May 13, 2005 Report Posted May 13, 2005 anything directed by Ridley Scott <{POST_SNAPBACK}> What about Alien and Aliens!? Both excellent!
