I'm sure there are some good guides here on modaco, but this is what I used when I first started installing programs on my C500:

Just find out what kind of file you want to install (look at the extension or at the icon of the file in explorer).

You might have to register and sign in first at coolsmartphone before the link will work.

i still dont understand how to convert a video file that is mpeg 43.9mb into a smaller wmv to fit into my phone is it possible?

i have got windows media encoder and also windows movie maker

could some1 just guide me through it once plz?

Also try PocketDivXencoder to convert to files to DIVX format as this encoder application is very easy to use.

Hi, I can't help you on the movie bit because I'm still learning myself and don't have a clue...but as far as the homescreen bit, I found a really easy one to use on the microsoft download page for windows mobile devices. It's the only one listed but I can't remember the name of it. If you install on your pc, and then add a "my device themes" folder in your accessories folder in your phone, you can build your own themes using any picture from the internet or pc and you can change the background colors as well. Hope this helps. (i did have the link on one of my other posts...) ;)
