Guest beermonstermatt Posted May 14, 2005 Report Posted May 14, 2005 Hello, This is my first post, sorry if it has been asked before! I have a SPV E200 and use it as my alarm clock to get me up in the mornings, the problem I am having is this, when I go to set the alarm I go to Start/Stetings/Date and time, to get to the alarm you have to scroll past the time zone option, On a few occations I have changed the time zone by mistake as I have scrolled down, this has made the time and the alarm an hour late (not good when you have to go to work!) So my question is this: Is there a better alarm program avalable where I can just go in and set the alarm time, or is there any way of making a short cut directly to the alarm option? Thanks in advance!
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted May 15, 2005 Report Posted May 15, 2005 Welocome to the site ;) Unfortunately you can not make a shortcut to the alarm as such but there are a few apps available for alarms like Alarm Set. http://www.modaco.com/index.php?act=dscrip...etails&f_id=616
Guest scrattyrat Posted May 16, 2005 Report Posted May 16, 2005 do a search on modaco for 'HIL Alarm'. it is a nice simple alarm plugin that allows modified homescreens to show the phones alarm on the homescreen, aswell as being able to set and also disable it from there. No need to go clicking through the menus anymore. When you find it it also comes with a homescreen with the plugin included in case you dont want to go modifying your own. Other than that, if you want more functionality like multiple/recurring alarms/timers/stopwatches with a nice interface try city time alarms. Though as yet i cant get this to display on the homescreen. (i use this for recurring weekday alarms in the morning though and as its automatically recurring i dont need to view it on the homescreen.) Hope this helps.
Guest Confucious Posted May 16, 2005 Report Posted May 16, 2005 I use City Time alarms - great program ;)
