Guest lsuui Posted May 14, 2005 Report Posted May 14, 2005 Hello there smart smartphone users, any of you know what I'm doing wrong or not doing? Problem: Cannot get a GPS signal when using TOMtom 4.43 or Microsoft Pocket Streets 2005 Hardware : I'm using an Aktronix GPS receiver bluetooth (NMEA 0183 v3) I have an SPV c500 What I've done so far : <>I've connected the GPS and the C500 via bluetooth, the GPS is in my device list. The GPS receiver is flashing correctly. <>I've switched them both on! <>In the configure GPS part of tomtom it says "No GPS device!" <>In pocket streets it searches but then nothing else... Next : Any ideas? Thank you in advance for your time and support!
Guest beersoft Posted May 14, 2005 Report Posted May 14, 2005 you might want to use the tomtom gps that was supplied in the package with the tomtom sd card when you purchased it later Owen

Thanks for your time! (Maybe I should just be better at reading maps then I wouldn't need gps, but where's the fun in that!) :?:
Guest squall Posted May 14, 2005 Report Posted May 14, 2005 Im afraid its against the tomtom terms and condition to sell the software on, if you dont have the cd's that also means you have warez copy. MoDaCo has strict rules to discourage piracy and you cant post asking for help on illegal software. PM me if you have any problems with this, im closing this topic i suggest you buy genuine software in the future, you will have less problems
