Guest ajb3000 Posted May 14, 2005 Report Posted May 14, 2005 I'm planning on a 3 week trip backpacking round south-eastern europe in July, and intend to visit Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, Serbia, Bosnia and Croatia. I currently have an Orange contract and according to their site it'll cost £1.10/min to make a call and 55p/min to receive in all countries except Bosnia which has no roaming agreement with Orange. Is there a cheaper way of keeping in contact? Maybe a PAYG from another network? Or I remember hearing about a virtual network that was designed for travelling but can't remember much about or who it is. I don't think I local SIM will be much use as I won't be in any one country for long.
Guest pete1312 Posted May 17, 2005 Report Posted May 17, 2005 You could try SIM4travel.com. Your phone will of course need to be Network unlocked.
