Guest jabab Posted May 14, 2005 Report Posted May 14, 2005 I have an E200 with the latest Orange ROM, and I'm on o2 PAYG in the UK. I have tried loads of settings, but I can't get MSN messenger to work :?: . If anyone else has an E200 on o2, can they tell me how they got MSN messenger working, what ROM and settings they used? Thanks

Guest jabab Posted May 17, 2005 Report Posted May 17, 2005 Maybe I can find a way to tunnel it through allowed ports.
Guest jfran Posted May 18, 2005 Report Posted May 18, 2005 in the proxy settings, try changing the port to 8080 and having the type as http and see if it makes a difference rgds jim

The smartphone msn does not support proxy servers but a messenger called imov does. This cost money though and don't want to buy it only to find out that it does not work.
Guest lotp Posted June 8, 2005 Report Posted June 8, 2005 i am also an o2 customer using a e200, i have the same problem, if any1 finds a way around it post it please ! ;)
