Guest mike-oh Posted May 15, 2005 Report Posted May 15, 2005 For those of you who've had your ears and eyes peeled you'll know that the BBC is getting a new 3D (no were not talking wearing silly glasses or holograms) weather forecast presentinginging system. You can take a look at a few examples of it being trialed here I very much hope (and think) these are the early stages of testing because i don't like; The fact it looks like sky news, It's "3D" yet lacking topographic relief, What's with the beige?! We need shaded maps, Square temp thingys, i prefer round ones, Next to no data like wind, isobars etc. Anyhow, time will tell, probably they'll impliment it tomorrow (Monday). Discuss!
