SPV C500 Problem - Urgent Help!

Hello.

I purchased a C500 from here a couple of months back and everythings been good with the phone apart from yesterday. I was on Internet Explorer and suddenly the phone crashed, I left it for a while thinking that the phone needed to think for a bit before it carried on but nothing else happened. The backlight was still on and the phone had stalled, no keys would do anything and there was no keytone either.

I took the battery out and waited a bit then put it back in and switched on the phone to find the welcome screen (Orange Logo) and thought that this was the end of my problems but it wasn't. Nothing will load and my phone finds itself stuck on this welcoming message with the backlight on and isn't doing anything else apart from eating away at my battery.

Is there something I can do to fix this? Or is it a defect in the phone and if so will I be able to return it to the Modaco Shop in exchange for a non-faulty phone.

Also I have not opened the phone or tampered with it in anyway, just incase someone asks.

I had the same problem, but it was because I was messing around with home screens.

To fix my problem I did a hard reset.

INFORMATION ON HARD RESET

You will lose everything.
