SPV M2000 - Can't connect to Wi-fi

Hi,

I was reading all the posts, and this seems the place to be re: connecting the spv m2000 to a wireless network.

Here goes.

I have a wireless network installed in my house (connect via a Belkin ADSL wireless modem router). The SPV m2000 finds the network and connects to it but i cannot use the internet on the phone.

My network uses mac address filtering, 128 bit WEP encription etc.

I have input my WEP encryption keycode into the phone and done everything i know, but i still can't access the internet on my phone.

Normally when i connect a new computer to my network, i have to lower the firewall and it then appears as a DHCP client, and then i add its address to the MAC address filtering before putting the firewall back up. I have tried this with the phone, but the router won't find my phone and put it in the DHCP client list.

I have even added my phones MAC address to the router manually, but still no joy!

I add new computers and laptops to my Belkin network all the time.

I am just stumped with this SPV M2000

Hope someone can help before i totally lose my sanity and destroy my SPV M2000

Thanks

make sure that your network card is set to connect to 'internet' not 'work'

also make sure the connection settings for the network your connecting to are also set to connect to 'internet'

that works for me, but im using a linksys router.

All is alright, i did a hard reset of the SPV m200 and then the phone began to talk to my network. Superb
