What shall I install ?

SO I had to hard reset my SPV Classic, and I thought rather than just back up what was on it before I'll treat this as a chance to cull and re-evaluate what I want on it. I don't play games, or use it to watch films a lot, it's mainly as a phone, a simple text editor and reader, an RSS reader, a dictaphone and an MP3 player. I'd also like to use it as a basis for recording for podcasting

This is what was on it before, has anyone got ideas for better programs that do similar things?

* 9-way keypad

* Thermometer

* Torch

* Net dictate

* Beta Player

* Agile Messenger

* Jeyo Personaliser

* MS Remote display

As you can see it's all freeware, because why pay when you can have somethign for nothing?

Has anyone got any other/better ideas.

I know exactly where you're coming from.

My advice is simple : don't install anything until you think that you need it.

Most of the software on your list is the best available for their functions.

I think sometimes it's good to do a hard reset and start again, I certainly seem to have freed up a huge chunk of space on mine, and have re-evaluated what I really need, and what is just something I quite like on my phone. Well worth doing, my phone is now Spring cleaned. Pity about the lost SMS's but there we go.
