date&time problem

Hi

Sorry to open a new topic, but i haven't found any witch could cure my problem.

So , I can't change the date&time on my MPx200. When select settings and then date and time it shows " error the settings could not be opened ".

I will be apreciate if you can help me

Unfortunately this can happen if the registry becomes corrupt and the only fix it to do a hard reset I'm afraid.

Did you have a "." as trhe seperator for date or time?

Big no no - a known problem. Start>Settings> Regional settings and change back to anything else should cure your problem without a hard reset.

It is a known bug.

Only the date has the " . " and not the time.

I completely forgot about this other solution, in the early days hard reset was the way to go.

The error occurs on the C500 which has 2003SE - if it doesn't apply to the mpx200 then I appolgise for misleading you.

It can be replicated on 2003 on the MPX200, I'll have a check on 2002 in a bit.

edit Yep same occurs.
