Which folder are SMS kept in?

Says it all really.

I backed up my phone, but I don't want to do a full restore, can anyone remind me which folder SMS are kept in and I'll see if I can pull the one I need out.

The one I need is of course the one with my recharge code and €25 worth of recharge too.

EDIT: I should say I used the French Orange back up/restore tool to save what was on my phone. Navigating to the files it's stored on PC I see the Mapi folder, and also something called inbox.dump which of course I can't open.

However I do have Smart Journal which I notice also creates a .dump I wonder if with a bit of re-writing, it could be made to transfer inbox contents?

EDIT AGAIN I've also got the SDK Emulator, I don't know if with that I'd be able to open up the files?

Damn SPV.

CEmail.vol is where recieved SMS and emails are stored and the MAPI folder is where sent messages are stored.

Do you never do anythng else but sit in front of your computer?

Thanks very much though, now I've found a way to just save and restore any messages ;)

Do you know how to copy the file through activesync? I get an access denied while trying to copy cemail.vol.

Thanks :|

EDIT: Just ignore my silly question... Excuse me I'm a complete newbie, I found the answer while re-reading the post. You need a backup software in order to copy files from the phone

Thanks again

you can also copy your cemail.vol via activesync but be sure to close/kill your tmail.exe before doing so...
