all programs and videos close after 10 seconds

hi, i recently hard reset my phone, once this was done, i opened a video clip and tired to play it, it played for 10 seconds and went back to the home screen, the same happened when using smartexplorer

help on this matter would be much appreciated.

Go to Settings and select Homescreen.

Scroll down and change the Time Out option to Never.
