A thought about SD Cards

Ok so perhaps this is less applicable on a C500 where changing cards is a bit fiddly, but for those of us who can actually change a card without removing a battery.

I have five 128mb SD cards now, and will tend to use different cards for different things. I have one which I'll transfer films onto for long trains journeys, one for music, one for e-books and text entry, one for photos, and one that I just bung anything on. To save space I don't install all programs on all SD Cards, so I'll always have some dead links in my programs menu.

I've got a card reader on my PC so I particularly appreciate the fact I can transfer files across quickly with that.

WHAT I would love to see, is the ability for SmartPhone to update its programs menu automatically depending on what programs are found on the SD card, that way my menus on the phone would always be shorter, and they'd be relevant to the SD card inserted. Is this do-able?
