Not able to use full capacity of 512Mb Minisd card

Hi,

I've been looking through the forum for help on this but can't find anything on it.

My problem is I can only store files totaling up to 300Mb on a 512Mb mini sd card, before it says its full. This has only occured in the last few weeks, before then I was able to use the card to its full capacity.

To try and sort the problem I've deleted everything on the card, hard reset the phone, but to no avail. The only other thing I haven't tried (as I haven't got one) is to format the cardusing a card reader.

Any help on this would be appreciated.

You can format the Card using SP Task Manager form

The actual capacity should be about 488Mb (they use 1000 instead of 1024) butthere *might* be a limit on the numbver of files. Do you have more than 255 files in the root directory?

Otherwise a format should correct it.

I formated the card and the problem is now resolved.
