Any info on next version of Magician?

Given that the HTC Magician has been out for a while now, I would have expected hearing rumours by now of the next version of the Magician.

Does anyone have any info?

It will obviously run Windows Mobile 5.0, but what other features do you think it will have?

Quad-band?

Wi-fi?

128MB memory?

2 Mega-pixel camera (hopefully with flash)?

I'd like 128mb storage and in-built MS Voice Command with support for SMS / email dictation.

A big improvement in the camera is another essential.

In its forum Expansys confirms a Jam 2, with 128 MB and wifi. Only other thing they said is that it is coming in the end of this year, with Expansys this means end of next year I think. Other features, price and arrival date are unknown.

I think this would mesn the end or the start of next year. Because it goes inline with the Windows Mobile 5.

With Wifi and 128Mb (RAM or ROM, should be ROM if it runs WM2005), in the same size as the current Magican, this one should almost perfect!!

"Almost" is definitely the right word. What about built-in GPS, EDGE, 3G, a 4Gb Microdrive, a better camera, flash etc? ;)

I think 128Mb RAM and WIFI are pretty much confirmed ..... now if they could squeeze GPS in their as well it would be most welcome !!

I reckon HTC will have to make the JAM 2 quite special if they want to maintain their sales as the competition seems to be catching up very quickly .....
