Only default ringtones selectable

On my phone when I assign a tone to a contact, I can select only the default tones. It's normal? Or is my phone that's *****

Custom ringtones need to be in the Storage\Application Data\Sounds folder.

And have to be in the right format (wav ,wma ,aac) and also .mp3 (wich can be stored on storage card as well if your phone is upgraded to the french ROM).

Cold_fire was refering to the new ROM for the C500 which has WMP10 which enables MP3s to be used as ringtones. Certainly on the C500 if you don't have WMP10 you can't use MP3s as ringtones.

Ok, it works.

But for standard ringtone I can place the mp3/mid/mmf file everywhere... I don't understand how works wm2003...

On C500 it did not work under WMP 10! ;)
