a couple of times now, i've answered a call, and there's been no sound coming out of the speaker. i do a soft reset and everything's peachy.

the only problem is i'ev only had the m2000 since saturday, and i don;t know what's causing the problem, only that a soft reset solves it, and i can;t be doing that all the time on the assumption that the next call won't work.

is there something i'm doing wrong ? or am i going to need to contact orange care about this ?

There are several existing threads about this problem, most seem to blame bluetooth, a search or two should find them. I never use bluetooth and I never have this problem.

so far (as i don't have a handset yet) i haven't used bluetooth, so i don't think that's the cause...

I have had this problem, somehow the outgoing and incoming callls make no sound, I have never used bluetooth, and a soft reset plus a change of battery seemed to fix it? I am confused.

after a call to orange support i got a fault code, and swapped it out at the retail store, i suggest you do the same if you can, otherwise it's an orange care job.
