I was drifting through my normal day, checking round a couple of forums i belong to, (inc this one) and there was one annoying thing EVERY forum i belong to has.

An advert for that Ba*sta*d crazy bloody frog - the problem is i have ALL forums i visit have expressed a hate for the monochid sod - so why is he there?

Even worse, these adverts are now made so when you put your mouse over it (in my case accidental) you can hear that crap in all its glory . . . its bad enough hes on tv - everytime it comes on i change channel or leave the room . . . please please please modaco ban this crap ad from the forum.

I've already banned the really annoying SmileyCentral ads... i'm not sure which advertiser the Crazy Frog ones are coming from, but i'll do my best to track it down ;)

Well it was on the bottom horizonal banner - it was an ad for Jamster - i've seen so many today and can't find it here again - typical

The ad it self was flash - so pause-able but annoying all the same.

I'll take a screen shot if i see it again.

after i posted the reply i caught the sod on my screen AGAIN! (see attached screen shot)

Even worse this time i was blasting music when the little git was activated when i opened the start menu. **will shoot frog on sight**

What is really funny is that in 10 years time when you're all watching the numerous 'I Love The Noughties' programmes, that frog is going to get a revival. Students will be going to 'Crazy Frog' theme parties ;)

Many thanks - this is certainly a victory for all who hate the frog

perhaps you could replace the ads for something we can make use of? I edit down my own ringtones do i've never brought one - can the smartphone take them?

I'm working on a pattern recognition system that sits between your digital box and TV, recognises the jamster adverts and cuts them out, replacing them with soothing elevator music.

Anybody on here heard the "alternative" ringtone available on Coolsmartphone which gears posted? Its quite funny but also very rude, so dont listen to it if easily offended...
