T-mobile GPRS settings

HI

I have the T-mobile MDA compact and use T-mobile and I have been trying to use msn and internet explorer but to no use....I downloaded the cab file from this link http://www.buymobilephones.net/smartphone_setup.ihtml but it only works when my phone is connected to pc...or maybe it's just using my pc internet connection...It doesn't work while it's not connected to the pc...Is there something else I'm missing?? Please let me know...

Tap the G in the task tray, click on settings -> connections -> manage existing settings under My Isp, ensure there is a setting under name and something under number, if nothing is listed under number, select edit and go through the wizard, no need to touch any of the settings.

When that is done, tap and hold on the connection name and select connect... after which you should be able to launch PIE and connect to say google.
