Magician + Windows Media button problems

Hi everyone,

I took delivery of my qtek s100 last night and have been playing about with it. It seems like a very good device.

Has anyone had any problems assigning keys in the Windows Media Player app? I can't seem to assign keys to anything other than the d-pad. Tried to assign the screen toggle option to the contacts button, but when I push it the contacts list appears. :?:

Has anyone else had this problem?

Thanks,

Greg

Yep, I've got the same problem. Haven't found a solution though, sorry.

its a known problem. you'll also notice you cant control media player unless its displayed.

to get around this problem i use betaplayer. its has a better playlist function, works with all buttons and you can control the player with the buttons when its not displayed.

i rarely use media player because of this problem.

msg sent from my xda mini!

Damn, I was afraid someone might say that. I use betaplayer for movies anyway so I guess I can get used to it for music too.

Thanks for letting us know mate.

No prob. Betaplayer works great for music, not as flashy as WMP10, but nice. The playlist is easy to use, unlike WMP10.
