How do i turn off TEXT MESSAGE SENT ?

Hello,

I have found an annoying bug i cant get round.

When i send a text message it always says "MESSAGE SENT" and i have to hit OK. This ISNT the delivery report mind.

SO, if i leave my phone and dont hit OK i dont receive text messages.

There has been an occassion when i go to my phone and then realise i didnt hit OK about an hour ago and as soon as i did, i got notification of 3 important text messages ... and i thought "enough is enough"

Anyone know how i can get rid of this annoying littel feature ??

I expect there is a registry tweak around it, but i expect it would turn off other features like the message faliure, which is actually quite useful - and to be honest its quite nice to know the text has gone

. . . . i must say you sound particularly lazy as the message comes up practicly instantly after you press send, AND the 'ok' its on the same soft key as the 'send', so you don't even have to move your fingure!

I also must say i understand this isn't the point and you should be able to do what the hell you like with your phone, im sure if this tweak exists someone will let you know.

I am a bit lazy, but hte MESSAGE SENT doesnt always come up straight away, and most times i text on the job and so whip it out, text and whip it back in my jacket, so sometimes forget.

Jsut thought it would be nice to get rid of it.

another way is this one:

\hklm\software\microsoft\inbox

from there, create a key named Settings

inside the settings folder, create a string SMSNoSentMsg with value of 1

softreset and there you go.

this is for sp2003. the message popup will not show up even for a second! ;)
