gettin sound off of video

Hi there,

does anyone know of some software you can download which enables you to be able to record the sound off of a video file? like for example, off of an *.mpeg file.

i wana do this so i can have some cool sounds to use on my phone.

any ideas???

I did a quick google on "extract audio" and found Video MP3 extractor.

It might be what you are looking for but if not just do a search for "extract audio" as there are lots of software available to do this.
