Guest Peterade Posted May 19, 2005 Report Posted May 19, 2005 Hi, I have a C500 which syncs to Outlook 2003. Trouble is I have over 1300 contacts there which I don't need on my phone. Anyone know of a way of dselecting them so when I sync contacts I only get the ones I want? I know how to swich contacts syncing completely off. Cheers
Guest cubik Posted May 20, 2005 Report Posted May 20, 2005 This is less to do with ActiveSync than rganising your contacts. Create another contacts folder: Right click the store (i.e. Outlook Today) Select 'New Folder...' Provide a name (i.e. Non-Sync Contacts) Select 'Contact Items' from the 'Folder Contains:' list Click OK Move the ones you don't what to sych into it? I use this method using Outlook 2000/2003 and Active Sync 3.8 and 4. Works fine for me.
Guest Confucious Posted May 20, 2005 Report Posted May 20, 2005 Wouldn't it be a lot easier just to assign a category to the ones you want to sync (say e.g. C500) and then go into options and select Synchronise only those contacts in the following categories? Or if there are only a few you want just select those ones to sync?
