I'm sure this is going to work, Im doing something wrong.

Oh wait its the USB hub. No power getting through to the phone.

But hold on activesync doesn't seem to work now.

now its only 2 days until I go away on Holiday after spending small African countries GNI

on Games 7, Utils 7, 1gb miniSD, 512mb miniSD, In ear headphones and a good 3.5 to 2.5 converter plus a new Krussel case and neck strap, oh and there’s the £20.00 on the unlocker code.

I would be quite frankly amazed if 10 mins after speaking to imei-check (pop into chat if you want?) you are not ringing people on yer phone.

Unless you tried 5 different 'free unlockers' first....

In case somebody has a problem please ask [email protected]

To the unhappy customer:

The unlocker says it clear:

Device conncetion error. Enter phone bootloader (3 color screen) connect to desktop and try again. (you provided screen shot to support showing it...)

If you had done this the unlocker would have started immediately and completed the unlock.

Most of the problems are caused by antivirus/firewall software blocking/slowing down communication with the device.

Our unlocker is complete save and can't kill your phone. In case anything is not working the first time just try again. It will find out the current state and continue the work.

UPDATE: problem fixed for juststuff. His phone is working fine now.

I was a bad idea thinking it would work.

I went to

http://www.imei-check.co.uk/

Mine failed and now its only 2 days until I go away on Holiday.

I've got a broken phone now after spending small African countries GNI

on Games 7, Utils 7, 1gb miniSD, 512mb miniSD, In ear headphones and a good 3.5 to 2.5 converter plus a new Krussel case and neck strap, oh and there’s the £20.00 on the unlocker code.

I suppose I do have a nice torch with a red, green and blue light to take with me.

Fcuk I’m depressed now.

IT LIVES

It worked about the 15th time I tryed.

again, again, again then a reinstall of activesync again, again horrible messages saying the usb device has malfunctioned (Stress levels rising) again,again..........

The IMIE man did send back lots of emails late at night to help. He even offer to chat on msm to get it fixed.

And yes I did panic......just a little

All I need now to complete my mini mobile mediacentre is a solar charger for this

c500.

Any Idea's please?

It’s late now so I’m going to bed.

But after all the fuss of earlier with the IMIE unlock, activesync will not open on the PC now.

There is the green icon in the lower left corner and when holding the mouse over this is says connected but I can’t get into activesync.

I’ve tried reinstalling it but that doesn’t help.

This is the case with all the USB ports and the USB mini hub I have is behaving very strangely indeed.

I’m getting a, Microsoft ActiveSync warning “Critical communications services have failed to start. Try resetting the mobile device, and then connect again”

But this doesn’t help

Everything worked perfectly before the previous issue.

I’ll rest easy though because you all seem very helpful

And look forward to a full report on my desk tomorrow morning at 8am.

Help me! Please! You’re my only hope.

Activesync still wont work.

I cant load any software to my phone.

For the last 7 /8 months all has been well until last night.

Something is not right.

What are your thoughts?

Thanks.

Activesync no likey USB Hubs.

There are numerous threads on similar problems with far to many solutions / things to try to mention here.

Try a search.

Good luck ;)

There you all where so sure of yourselves “ah the new fool has got it wrong”

“We can solve everything”

Well Activesync worked well with my hub for 7 months without a problem.

And now it’s shagged.

None of the USB ports work with it and all I get is a message saying,

“Critical communication services have failed to start. Try resetting the mobile device, and then connect again.”

Never in all the time I have had this phone have I ever got that message.

IMIE has done something to this computer that I can’t fix.

And now your silence suggests you cant ether.

What a let down.

My only hope is that someone might not yet have read this post, and can help.

It is almost certainly NOT anything that imei-check has done.

If you tried searching the forum like I said instead of relying on the right people to read your message as soon as you post them you would probably have found your solution by now.

A coincidence? No.

It must be IMEI. 7 months working fine, then I make some drastic changes with IMEI

and then it doesn't.

I smell cattle.

People should know that it CAN damage your system.

Googbye.

I smell cattle and it's coming from you - you can't be bothered to find the answer so you blame something we all know works without a problem.

Try looking at your firewall -or maybe don't bother and wonder why it doesn't work.

Your wrong I looked all over this site. I nearly went blind trying to find something.

No good.

I thought I could draw on people’s knowledge but that was wishful thinking.

Sarcasm and....... some silly promise to help

Yes you can keep you collaborations with your software partners.

I see your true colours.

Modaco BITE ME

Firewall really Iv 'kin tried everything else.

xbox, when did you enter this thread? I notice you've created another one although you don't seem to be looking for help and don't say what the problem is?

To help juststuff, I used to have loads of problems with activesync doing exactly what you mentioned (showing connecting but nothing...) and originally thought it was a problem with an MSI Bluetooth dongle and/or XP Pro SP2. It wasn't IMEI check as the device hadn't been unlocked by them (it was the SPV E200 and so much easier just using the cracked rom ;) ). Afraid the only solution I could come up with was a complete reinstall of Windows...

Now I'm "thecommander" lord of all.

Well, well lets try it on the laptop then.

I haven’t used that for about a month, yet from boot up activesync gives the same horrid message.

Eat humble pie MOdoCO

IMEI DID BREAK MY PHONE.

It’s a rip off.

Last time I checked the forum rules, they specified one login only. If you want to keep being able to use Modaco quit breaking the rules. That's how peeps get banned...

Don't you find it strange that you alone seem to be having this problem...
