Hi, my first post on here, although I have read the forums quite regularly over several months.

I would like ask if it is possible to video record on the C500 without having the video be shown on the screen. i.e. for the home screen or similar to show instead.

Thanks,

Phil

Yup. It stops and when you go back in you have to start it again.

I can't think of a way to do it.

do you mean you want to have the movie playing instead of a regular home screen picture?

Becuase the ones you buy (like that stupid crazy from thing) are animated gifs.

anyway - video looping in the background would kill battery

thanks for the replies, all most appreciated!

What I mean is for the purposes of a very simple bit of covert videoing (for a legitimate reason I should add!).

As pointed out, when you press the home screen button the video recorder stops. Whereas, of course, if you do the same when WMP is playing, WMP continues to play.

theres probably a reason why you can't do it, and most of them revolve round illigal activity. I certainly hope you are not doing anything dodgy.
