I recently went to WM 2003 and was expecting markedly better battery life. However it seems that with maybe 30 mins of talk time, a custom ringtone, and some game playing that my battery drains out within a day or two. I'm wondering how long on average others use their phones for, and what others may use their phones for that causes short life. I'm wanting to get an SD card and listen to mp3's, but I fear I'll only get a few hours of use, before complete drain =(

Does anyone use their for mp3s and about how long can you listen on a full charge?

Sounds about right!

if you close the mpx (or screen is totally off) while listening to mp3s you can get through quite a lot. Possibly a couple of hours..possibly more.

I can say that mp3s use a significantly less amount of battery than games or talking. Talking sure uses the most.

You could always buy a:

or a

..if you're thinking of playing mp3s off an SD card. It's an option since the mpx isnt exactly the best sounding of devices either.

hope that helps.

Thanks much man! I was beginning to worry about doing something wrong, but apparently the machine does have it's limits. ;)
