Gnuboy problem

Hi

I have just installed the gnuboy on my SPV C500 and I was merrily playing away on pokemon, however, I cannot seem to exit!!

This is the first and only game I have tried at the moment so I am not sure if it is a problem with pokemon or the gnuboy rom.

i can bring up the menu with exit but when I press 'select' it just goes back to my game.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
