UNLOCKING & SMT 5600

Hi,

I just wanted to know, if you use that site, I forget what its called, but the popular one to sim unlock the smt 5600 and spv c500, 20 pounds.. anyways, I just want to know when you've already done that is the phone also application unlocked?

Also, with my first SMT 5600, it completely broke (perhaps u remember my topic for help), anyways, hardreset wouldn't work, I sent it to audiovox and still they couldn't fix it so they replaced it. U know how people say reflash the ROM if something EXTREME happens, I just wanted to know since AUdiovox doesn't release any ROMS on the internet, if my phone breaks (I hope not cuz its far to much $), can I reflash it with the SPV C500 UK ROM?

The SIM unlock site is www.imei-check.co.uk as for application unlocking the 5600 is not application locked.

You can use the UK rom after SIM unocking but it's not worth doing as the rom you have is ok.

yea, but I'm just saying since audiovox doesn't offer the ROM online, if my phone breaks, I cant relfash it with Audiovox, so since I dont want to spend so much money to ship it to audiovox to reflash it for me, I can just use the orange ROM..
