Problem syncing my c500

Hej, I have had problems connecting my c500 to my pc. i have never have this problem. i've tried to see if i could find out what the problem was, but no luck. i had my computer formatted and started up again. because my external harddisk couldn't been seen by my com. i put in a firewire card then my com could see the harddisk, but it couldn't see it usb cable. of what i can see there is some kind of problem with my usb. and it's starting to piss me off.

can some please help me? it would me great. just a solution of some kind, something that could solve my problem.

What OS are you running on your computer? Check your USB Controllers. If everything else is working then you shouldn't see a 'yellow icon' here (see attached picture).

I know there are options to 'Disable driver' , 'Update driver' 'Uninstall driver' on XP. You cannot uninstall something not yet installed.
