Guest Laser_iCE Posted May 21, 2005 Report Posted May 21, 2005 (edited) Hey, I haven't been around here in a while, well, talking, but I have been watching topics, but one of the things that I did mention in one of my posts is that I broke my joystick! Completely! Now, there is a phone on ebay that has a cracked LCD screen, and the auction has finished and I have been in contact with the seller, and he is willing to part with just the phone for fairly cheap (less than AU$100). I need a new case as well, so I'm fine with paying that price, my question is... Because I need a new joystick, would it be easier/possible to simply "unsolder" his joystick and then solder it onto mine? OR Would it be easier/better/more possible to swap screens? Both phones are in fine working order apart from these two minor issues! I really do hope that either is possible ;) My dad is able to do welding and what-not, so that is no issue, but it's a matter of whether or not it's physically possible! Thanks guys :P EDIT: Btw, I wasn't sure which subforum to post this in, so this seemed as good as any ... Thanks again ;) Edited May 21, 2005 by Laser_iCE
