Howss MediaPlayer10, on c500 working out for you?

Has anyone had any trouble with MediaPlayer 10?

I'm tempted to try it but with my record at istalling things I wanted to see what other people had problems with first. ;)

You can't install WMP10 on the phone.

The only way to get it on a C500 is by installing the French ROM.

It does work OK though. If you take a note how to change the OS language (unless you speak french) but you have to change MMS, GPRS, SMS and all internet settings as they all point to the french equivalents. Search the forum- someone pasted all the right settings.

It took me a day or so to get everything back to normal. Since then everything is fine. WMP10 is much better than 9 - playlist support and the ability to FFW and REW. Personally - and i've still not managed to get anyone to confirm this - the multipress issue has gone away too.

Orange have said the English version is imminent - but it is generally perceived that they are lying. ;-)

I 'd love to have a go, but my c500 is my only friend and I'd hate to loose him by frying his brain.

If I got the installation wrong could it hurt my phone?
