Guest smith2001 Posted May 22, 2005 Report Posted May 22, 2005 hi all well seen as though I found myself out of work I have run up a bill and many others to be fair. after agreeing to pay them off at certain dates from my new job I have received a letter from orange saying "if you do not bring the account up to balance we will have to disconnect your account from the network, when you pay the balance we might not be able to put you back on the tariff you joined us on, if this is the case you will be placed on the nearest tariff for the plan you were once on" the msg went similar to that, thing is, has anyone have this happen to them ?? I was on yourplan exclusive 200 mins xnet and 500 texts for £30, can they take off it?? and I not argue to be put back on, I plan to move myself to the lowest tariff possible of £15 if they do and not actually use the phone so my minimum bill spend will be reduced by a good £20 when I take the options I have on the side off too. smith thanks for the replies
Guest Disco Stu Posted May 22, 2005 Report Posted May 22, 2005 Why not just give them a ring and sort it out ? I imagine the small print of your contract allows them to do that but they should be flexible if you contact them.
Guest smith2001 Posted May 22, 2005 Report Posted May 22, 2005 i did, thing is i got the letter even after we had agreed a date for re-payment, so i do not know if what the tubby said will be honored or the letter. i just wondered if anyone else had experienced this before thats all smith
