Guest bilclintonsdaman Posted May 23, 2005 Report Posted May 23, 2005 Hey guys, I'm brand new to this smartphone stuff, I just got an Audiovox SMT5600 w/ Cingular. I got it hooked up to my comp w/ bluetooth and Activesync, and my first question is is there a way to transfer files from my comp to my phone using just the phone, like how I can open "Explore" on my desktop Activesync? Second and last for now, is there an app or utility for the phone that would allow me to close programs instead of just minimizing them?

I've a C500 and under accessories you can find task manager. This gives you the option of closing all programs.
Guest Confucious Posted May 23, 2005 Report Posted May 23, 2005 Why do you want to close apps? Windows Mobile is designed to leave apps open. If you don't have task manager (I too have a C500 which has it) then xbar is well worth getting (it's worth getting even if you have task manager) and allows for closing of single or all apps. AFAIK there is no way of transferring files using just the phone - it has to be done from the PC. HTH
