Guest Disco Stu Posted May 23, 2005 Report Posted May 23, 2005 Wrong Windows folder. The Startup folder is in the main \Windows folder - after you hit Explore in ActiveSync, then My Pocket PC it is listed below the Storage folder.
Guest Yozef Posted October 23, 2005 Report Posted October 23, 2005 Well... I've been trying to track down this problem for quite sometime... and surprisingly, this hasen't been solved yet. I've been having this problem myself since day 1. Every few while, I get a popup window Unable to locate Windows\PocketNotify.exe , so I just click ok and move on. But there has to be a solution to this. Now... one you asked to list whats in \Windows\StartUp, and here is the following: :arrow:BTTrayCE, DBMonitor, iPaqWireless, poutlook, STK and TTY Settings. I looked in every one of these files in Notepad, and it only list the address of the file (none of which are pointing to PocketNotify.exe). Cheers all. Yozef
Guest mavisdavis Posted October 23, 2005 Report Posted October 23, 2005 What that normally means is that you have an application installed on your memory card and when you reboot the phone starts to look for it instantly but it takes a second or two for the sd card to catchup. Try re-insstalling the app to the phone. Ive found this usually helps
