Help... My 10 day old Cingular branded MPx220 won't access the internet.

It was fine until last Friday, then I started getting page not found errors no

matter what page I've tried to access.

I've been round and round with tech support and they couldn't solve the

problem. Today they said I should exchange it, but none of the local stores

have any???

I really want to keep this phone. Has anyone else had this problem?

If you've called Cingular and they've reset things on your end then it must be some settings that you've changed for the data connections. Naturally a hard reset would probably fix the problem or you can find other posts on how to check the settings one-by-one to see what's changed. You have done a complete power-off/on I assume? There was a nagging Cingular problem a while back where a power-off/on would reset the network to allow it to start working again. I had to do that once/day for a month or so until Cingular apparently fixed something in the network causing it.

I've been round and round with Cingular. It worked fine then once the next day when I tried again it would not connect to anything. I just keep gettings "page not found" errors My Wife's phone a v551 has never had any problems this whole time.

I did a master reset when it first began thinking some software I installed caused it.

Still not working. Then spent the next week working with Cingular. Still mine wont access anything. Still the v551 has no problem...
