sucking out the dust on the c500

hey everyone, ive had my c500 for a month now and, yup you guessed it DUST! im not gonna rant about this as i know so many people have already done so.

anyway, ive read around on here that it is possible to get the dust out with a hoover (exellent) but how affective is this? and will it have an effect on my c500 at all? (like will it damage it) and finally. where do i put the hoover for maximum dust removal?

The hoover will not damage the phone unless you suck the whole phone up ;)

Seriously though place the hoover end by the power button for best results.

hey, i havnt posted in a while, and i have another question about dust and the c500, i though i may as well post it here in this old thread. rather than make another thread.

it been getting worse over the past couple of months. the case i got for it helps, but its still annoying.

now my question is. you know those static suit cleaner thingys. you ones that you run over a suit and it picks up all the hair and the like. they contain static electricity. now if i run this over the screen of my c500. do you think it would be possible to move all the dust to one side (out of the way) using this method. and will the static damage anything in the process. (the lcd screen, or chips inside the phone, etc etc)

thanks alot, usally i would do and think later, but in this case i would like to be sure.
