SMT5600 Dailing Problem

Hi,

u know when u start to dail a number, and it matches ur contacts numbers below.. well for some reason mine doesn't do that with all phone numbers in certain contacts. For example, I want to dail a friends mobile, and it doesn't show it underneeth, however it does show when I'm calling their home number. Can someone explain what I have to do so it shows mobile + home numbers, or every number associated with contacts? Thx..

You need to enter the contact's name ie for John you need to press 5646 and not their actual number to see all the call options.

You also need to do this from the homescreen and not the contact list.

If you go into contacts and select a contact then view it and select Menu, option 5 gives you the chance to change the default Number that will be dialled when you select the contact using the above method.

oh ok, yeah when I start dailing numbers starting with area codes, it already starts to sort.. I didn't know however u can start entering #s for contact names.. The problem is that when I start entering phone numbers to start dailing, it doesn't find my friends number (mobile) but I guess its ok since I can now type in their names, but its easier to start dailing numbers.. 8)

yeah, I'll just use their names I guess, but its nice to type in the first 3 digits of their numbers and then just hit the dail button.. but hey, the names works great too! though I'm still wondering why it doesn't sort all the numbers from the contacts. For exmaple I type in my friends mobile number and it doesnt' even recognize it... it does tho when its actually calling after I press the talk button.
