I have been checking around but can't see anyway of streaming FiveLive onto my radio. Does anyone know of a good and pref, low bit rate method of listening to the finals tonight through my SPV C500? I'm not sure that it can be done on the C500 unless there is internet streaming and that would probably cost you more than nipping across to Istanbul to watch the match in person! ;)

The bbc web site states that it can not allow streaming of sports events as It has a limited license.You can only stream the music stations to a PC this is because of copyright issue's. After a long search I did find the Url for bbc Xtra (Black culture/Music) its a great station, but that doesn't help you get the footie. Orange will give you unlimited gprs for about 85 pounds a month. Spainish networks are pushing streaming radio in big way but that again doesn't help you. 5 pounds on a cheap fm radio seems the best bet. One day we may be able to unlock the full potential of our phones but not today. I wonder if the new c550 will come with an FM radio. When I got my c500 the posters in the orange shop said it had one but then Orange are naff. Edited May 25, 2005 by dolphinsmile
