Guest bauer Posted May 25, 2005 Report Posted May 25, 2005 Hi i was wondering if it was possible to navigate through activesync to delete all sms messages, i have over 2000 in my inbox due ot my laziness. Id like to clear it all out but navigating to the messages folder within the windows folder and deleting all the files hasnt worked. The phone im referring to is an SPV E200, im pretty sure all smartphones are the same however its better to to give all details. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Guest Confused Stu Posted May 25, 2005 Report Posted May 25, 2005 (edited) Don't know any way of deleting the messages through Activesync. There is a "delete all" option hidden on the smartphone's - don't know if it's on Pocket PC's though. On the phone, go into the messaging program, select texts, then select the option "folder". Highlight the folder you want to empty (e.g. inbox), then select Menu and "Clear all text messages" shows. Does this work on the Pocket PC? If not, sorry for wasting your time. EDIT: Sorry, being stupid - saw "2000" and thought you'd got an M2000 Pocket PC, not an E200 phone!!! Seeing as you have a phone, this should definitely work to clear your texts!
