Guest boyo69 Posted May 25, 2005 Report Posted May 25, 2005 this may be well known info, and i apologise if it is.........but i have seen everywhere that the Jam/Mini/MDA supports MP3's as ringtones but could not find anyway of selecting them to use.......... http://www.pocketgear.com/software_detail.asp?id=16569 this file gives a 'set as ringtone' when you click and hold on an mp3 file........ as i said, if this is well known then i apologise, but i thought it was great i can use high quality lower file size music on my MDA !!!!
Guest Disco Stu Posted May 25, 2005 Report Posted May 25, 2005 Stop apologising mate. I for one didn't know about it. Good spot ;) Does it work if the MP3s are on the storage card ?
Guest mike-oh Posted May 25, 2005 Report Posted May 25, 2005 Copying the MP3/WMA into your windows/ring folder will do it. Altenatively using PPC profiles you can tell it to use your storage card as the location of the tones and any file in the root of your storage card can then be used. Interestingly if you've any videos (wmvs) it will play the audio from them as a ringtone too?! Strange but true!
