MobiLuck is a great, fun application for your Smartphone or Pocket PC... so I thought i'd ask MobiLuck to take the stand and talk about their application!

Hi and thanks for speaking to MoDaCo! Please introduce yourself!

MobiLuck has been incorporated in July 2003 and focus on creating software for Bluetooth devices.

The team is currently composed of 8 people.

MobiLuck has created a Bluetooth software engine enabling various applications such as messaging, dating, communities, business networking, content distribution, gaming, classified advertising, shopping, local information, etc.

Describe MobiLuck in your own words

Send messages for free and meet people with your mobile phone!

With MobiLuck you can:

- Detect all nearby Bluetooth devices! Your cell phone rings or vibrates when it finds a new one in a 20 meters range.

- Send messages, business card, files and photos for free to friends or strangers with no need of their phone numbers!

- Send your profile and receive profiles from other MobiLuckers.

- Send MobiLuck to other people so you’ll meet more and more MobiLuckers.

You can detect all Bluetooth devices and send messages to them even if they don’t have MobiLuck! So you will detect dozens of Bluetooth devices every day.

It answered all my questions I had about bluejacking and mobiluck.

yeah I agree.

I tried to use it on my C500 and it kept saying "failed" when I tried to send to a bt phone right next to me.

From what I remember there were about 3/4 options to send by Bluetooth and I never knew which was best.

I would love it to work for me, it would be great fun.

Or not....I've tried to download this so many times and it just never, ever works. I select my country, put in my email address, select Orange and the C500 and it asks if I want the trial version or the full version. Click on the trial button and nothing....just waits and waits.

Been like this for months now, ever since I first heard about Mobiluck - someone very kindly sent me a version to try* but I understand that the latest version is better, but I can't download it!

Ditto. Could never exit the program (not even through task manager). Phone crashed all the time, I was glad to get the thing off my phone at the end. Also, it would not let me install it in English as my regional settings are set to German. This is a major flaw, as I could not zap messages in the language of my choice.

I am Gui from MobiLuck :D

I hope I'll be able to help you running and using MobiLuck.

First of all, I am very sorry for the inconveniences you had downloading/trying MobiLuck.

So, first things first, if you had troubles downloading MobiLuck PLEASE send me an email and explain the bug you had!

Then I'll send you the application ; [email protected] ;)

Second point, sending messages;

There are several sending options and several reasons for failures;

:arrow: Message: short text file accepted by Smartphones, PDA...

:arrow: Message as contact: message inserted in a VCF file for a better compatibility, you can use this to send to a "dumb phone" like Sony Ericsson T610-630 K700, Motorola...

:arrow: Contact: Send a contact from your directory

:arrow: File: Send a file from your device

:arrow: Image: Send an image (with visualisation to choose)

:arrow: Mobiluck: Send a WAP download link

In a word, if your message failed, it can be refused by the other device or the device is gone between the time you detect it and the moment you send your message or bluetooth is busy (detecting...)

I hope you will now be able to test it in good conditions, and don't hesitate to ask for support here or @ [email protected] ;)

Don't have much look getting it to run on a C600 with the latest ROM, even though it's listed on your site.

It installs ok, but when I run it, I get the 'egg timer', then it flashes to the mobiluck main screen for a brief second, before going back to the start menu.

Task manager doesn't show it as running, so guess it's crashing out.

Also doesn't remove using add/remove programs either.

Had The same problem with my C600 if program was installed onto storage card, but when installed onto device it works ok

Guys just wait till Sniper comes out! it will blow your head away!

Its currently in testing at the moment but should be released sometime this weekend or next week!!!

i need help, i want to uninstall this app but seem it doesn't appear on ADD Remove Program lists. is there anyway i can uninstall them.

or could i just delete the whole folder and files ?

will this application leave anything in registry?, if so how can i clean them up?
