I would like to welcome MobiLuck to our 'Plus Partners' program.

It's great to have MobiLuck on board, it's a cool app... and one that can really benefit from more people having it... so what better than giving the application away to our loyal site supporters!

Under the terms of our 'Plus Partnership', MoDaCo Plus members can now benefit from a free copy of MobiLuck for Smartphone or Pocket PC!

In their own words:

Today, with MobiLuck you can already:

-Detect all nearby Bluetooth devices. Your cell phone rings or vibrates when it finds one.

- Send messages and photos for free to friends or strangers with no need of their phone numbers.

- Hear when you receive a Bluetooth message and reply to the - Send your profile and receive profiles from other MobiLuckers including their photo.

- Send MobiLuck to other people so you'll meet more and more MobiLuckers.

Soon, you will also use MobiLuck to :

- Play multi-users games, download ringtones, logos, music and games.

- Meet people, recognize friends of friends and share your passions.

- Attend professional exhibitions, exchange business cards and find new customers.

- Find a job, an apartment, a second-hand car, a pub, an unoccupied cab, win miles and do some shopping.

- Save time in public transportations and lines, enjoy cities and museums…

and many other things

Check out their site at http://www.MobiLuck.com for more info, and MoDaCo Plus members, check out your dedicated area for this great benefit ;)

Looks like a bluejackers dream. It'll happily send messages etc to non-mobiluck phones and manage anything they send back into an inbox. You can set ignore for any irritating workplace bluejackers etc.

The demo version seems to be locked from receiving any bluetooth connections and from advanced features like sending images... can't wait for my code.

Yeah, cant do any of the 'good' functions without the code.

I had a fun night in the pub last night with this app. Shame that a lot of phones won't automatically accept messages, but still fun.

Some of the user names people have on their phones.....

Got my activation code now... Thanks.

Just need to find other users that have spent £25 on the full version to use the MobiLuck features... my bet is '0'.

Sorry if this is deemed spamming, but as this is an "active" mobiluck forum, I thought I'd pose a question - and I'll only post it here..(so not to spam in the future)

http://www.modaco.com/index.php?showtopic=...=0entry589422

I installed mobiluck on my phone last night, and then went to the pub...

Immediately a number of devices were found - 6310's, NGAGE's etc.

I tried the send a message to any of the people and every time I sent one, I got an error message and a "failed" message!

How do I communicate to other bluetooth users?

I've read the bluetooth guides, but I'm still none the wiser.

Cheers

Some phones wont except the 'Message' function (.txt file).... you need to try 'Message as contact'.

will give it a go then. All I need to do is find someone with bluetooth in their phone!
