My new SP3i freezes / crashes

My new SP3i worked fine for about 2 months but now freezes and wont power off.

Removing & re-inserting the battery turns the frozen screen off but then it will not re-boot. Leave it off for a few hours and then it will fire up and seems to work but then freezes again.

I have not down loaded any additional software or games, and never had bluetooth turned on.

I have used a 512 miniSD card to store photos but removing this does not seem to fix the crashes.

Any suggestion on how to get the phone back and working would be appreciated. I really liked it until it started with these problems......

Maybe you can try a hard reset?

I know its a bit extreme but as you say, you don't have anything installed there anyway. And all your phone numbers, etc should hopefully be backed up on the computer anyway.

I am sure a hard reset will solve your problems.

As for other ways, I am not sure what could be causing the freezing.

What a waste of the phone tro not have downloaded any additional s/ware!

I am suprised it's freexing but you've tried taking the card out so I think you're only option is a hard reset.

When you say you haven't installed any additional software, does that include ringtones, skins etc which will use up the phone memory.

Also do you delete text messages & emails regularly ?

thanks for the help guys - I did the hard reset. It worked fine for about half a day and then froze again. I took it back to the retail shop who has sent it off to the manufacturer. + one week still waiting waiting waiting...
