I just ran the Moto-Update tool and it appears to be pulling down 1.43 Firmware.

Anyone else seeing this? I ran it by chance. I was running 1.30 and heard about 1.39 not too long ago. I tried about a week or two ago to upgrade to 1.39 with no luck. I ran it today and that's what the firmware version said.

I'll send a screen cap when I get done with the upgrade.

My understanding is that it's the latest version from Motorola, and Cingular is still testing it. If it passes their testing, it will be officially announced. Thus far, I've only heard good things about it.

It must have passed. Here's a screen cap..

At first glance, there is a difference in the Btooth, WMP is still at 9 (no surprises there). I have honestly just installed it and gotten all the restoring/installing done.

The fact that it's out there doesn't mean that it passed. A couple weeks back, 1.39 was there. Apparently Cingular rejected 1.39 because no announcement was made, and now a new one (1.43) is out there. I'm quite sure there will be an announcement once Cingular has blessed the firmware rev.
