I lost my backup of my rom from Cingular which is what the phone originally came with, and I was hoping I could get a copy of it some how. Or if ne1 knows how I can get the original ROM back on.

Have you tried to hard reset the phone? WHile pushing both soft keys, push the power button and follow on screen instructions. There is a great article in the beginning of this forum. Chances are ROM is still intact unless you were trying to flash with another Rom.

Does the Audiovox SMT5600 remain UNLOCKED after you do a hard reset?? Or does it go back into a locked state?

Yeah I flashed it with another ROM, the phone works, it just irritates me because it says I'm always roaming and i'm on the Cingular network.
