shortcut removal

hi all

ive just upgraded to the 1.4 cingular firmware on my uk vrsion mpx220 and all went well. the only thing thats bothering me is that its added new shortcuts the most noticable and annoying to me anyway are the shortcuts under messaging. where i used to have - text messaging - outlook email - and mms, i know have bellsouth - earthlink and sbc/yahoo. anyone got any ideas how to remove these extra shortcuts ?

Yeah, just use the FIle Manager application on the phone and go into "\Storage\windows\Start Menu". You can move, copy, or delete any of the shortcuts (LNK files) there, or in any of the sub-folders. If some of them won't delete, check the attributes for the file, and remove the "read only" attribute, if it is set. For more info about customizing the start menu, see this web page:
