Guest ajla Posted May 26, 2005 Report Posted May 26, 2005 is it possible to set up c500 on flight mode so i can use my mp3 player in aeroplane
Guest Chiz Posted May 26, 2005 Report Posted May 26, 2005 Yes. Half depress the power button to get to the Quick List and select flight mode. Whether or not you can convince the cabin crew that it will not have an adverse effect on the plane is another matter.
Guest dolphinsmile Posted May 26, 2005 Report Posted May 26, 2005 (edited) easyjet let me use it. but I phoned in advance I did get some red hot looks off other passengers so I turned it off. I think first class business men would understand that the plane wont crash but 20 drunk nutters dont have a clue. Edited May 26, 2005 by dolphinsmile

Guest PhoenixAG Posted May 26, 2005 Report Posted May 26, 2005 Yes, even with Flight Mode On, it is a major problem when it comes to the Human factor. Convincing flight attendants that the phone radio is really off can take a long time. Not to mention the other passengers. Do what I do. Put it on flight mode and then use it discreetly. Don't show it to anyone or advertise the fact that you've got a phone. If you're using it as an MP3 player, then no one will know as the phone will remain in your pocket and only the headphones will be out.
