24hr time homescreen format?

I've been dabbling with homescreen designs and will be posting my first soon but I'm having trouble with the 24hr time format in the 'carrier' plugin.

I want the homescreen to show the leading zero so the time is shown as 02:22 or 10:48 for example.

At the moment the time shows as 2:22 even though the plugin set to "24" and my regional setting on my C500 are set to HH:MM:SS

Is this a C500 bug or am I missing something.

I don't really want to use RJtime as I want the time & date on the same row as the carrier tag.

I know this is a picky point but its upsetting my formating (and making my brain hurt).
