Hi,

My phone seems to have a mind of its own when it comes to switching back to the flashing green LED from the red one to say that a message has been recieved... I open the message, read it, close it, return to the home screen and sometimes the LED is flashing green, other much more annoying times it's still flashing red. The only way to reset this is to perform a soft reset...

Any ideas people?

Strange. My Blue Angel resets the red light to green immediately after I check the alert (ie, check missed calls etc).

I turn flight mode on, then off, it's a bit quicker than a soft reset..

The red light is from the alert, NOT the message. So, if you go into the inbox and manually open the message, the alert is still outstanding and the light flashes. Instead, click on the evelope icon at the top of the screen and use it to open/read/reply to the message, and the flashing stops right there.
